Last week we met our buddies in the lunch room.  We spread out and played games with our friends!

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to visit our Kindergarten buddies! We made snowflakes! We helped our buddies cut out snowflakes first, then we got to make our own!

Before Christmas break, we decorated ornaments for our families and friends! Check out some of our pictures below. We used Painter Markers to complete the project.

We had an amazing time at the Joslyn Art Museum today!  We had excellent tour guides, and we learned so much about Native American Art.  We even got to create some of our own art.

In writing, we are working on writing our own version of "Twas the Night Before Christmas.  Today, we started typing our stories!  We have some pretty creative stories so far!

This past Friday we celebrated because our school was one of the winners of the US Cellular Contest!  We had a huge Assembly!  Our school was awarded $50,000 to use toward art education!  Ashley won an extra special prize!  She gets to choose her favorite restaurant and have lunch with the principal!

We started a new art project today!  It's called "Falling for Foreshortening".  We started by tracing our shoes and hands to create the optical illusion that the person we are drawing on our paper is falling!  We will post pictures of the final products later!

We have been working hard on putting together our Native American Research projects!  We will start presenting our work next week!
